Job Title: UX/UI Designer

Job Overview:

As a UX/UI Designer on our User Experience Team, you will play a pivotal role in crafting exceptional user experiences for our products. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design user interfaces that are not only visually compelling but also highly functional and intuitive. Your primary focus will be on creating designs that enhance user satisfaction and drive engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

1. User Research & Analysis:
   • Conduct user research through interviews, surveys, and usability testing.
   • Analyze user feedback and behavior to inform design decisions.
   • Develop user personas and user journey maps to understand and document user needs and pain points.
2. Design & Prototyping:
   • Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes for web and mobile applications.
   • Design high-fidelity UI elements and interactive components.
   • Utilize design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, or similar to deliver polished design assets.
3. Collaboration:
   • Work closely with Product Managers, Developers, and other stakeholders to define project requirements and constraints.
   • Present design concepts and rationale to team members and stakeholders.
   • Incorporate feedback into design iterations and maintain open communication throughout the design process.
4. Usability Testing & Iteration:
   • Plan and conduct usability testing sessions to validate design concepts and identify areas for improvement.
   • Analyze test results and make data-driven design recommendations.
   • Iterate on designs based on user feedback and usability findings.
5. Design System & Documentation:
   • Contribute to the development and maintenance of a design system and style guides.
   • Ensure consistency in design patterns, components, and interactions across different platforms.
   • Document design specifications and guidelines for developers and other team members.
6. Quality Assurance:
   • Collaborate with developers to ensure the accurate implementation of designs.
   • Conduct design reviews and provide feedback during the development process.
   • Address any design-related issues or inconsistencies that arise.
7. Innovation & Trends:
   • Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.
   • Propose innovative design solutions and approaches to enhance user experience.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Experience: Minimum of [X] years of experience in UX/UI design, preferably in a tech or digital product environment.
• Skills:
  • Proficiency in design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite).
  • Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices.
  • Experience with responsive and adaptive design for web and mobile platforms.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
• Knowledge of accessibility standards and best practices.
• Experience with Agile or Scrum methodologies.
